Receiving is the process of bringing in goods from a supplier.

Receiving is the process of bringing in goods from a supplier. To receive goods, you need to have a purchase order or delivery note indicating what you expect. Once the goods arrive, you will need to inspect them to ensure they meet your quality standards and are undamaged.  

If there are any issues with the goods, you will need to contact the supplier to resolve the issue. Once satisfied with the goods, you can sign off on the delivery and take possession of them.
