ERP Term
"Finished Goods"

Finished Goods are items that are fully produced and ready to ship.

Finished goods are products that have been completed and are ready to be shipped. These products have gone through all the necessary steps in the manufacturing process and are now complete.

Many types of finished goods range from simple items like clothing to more complex items like automobiles. Depending on the product type, a few final steps can be involved before it is considered "finished." For example, testing or quality control may need to be performed on electronics or other delicate items.

Once finished goods are complete, they can either be stored until they are needed or shipped out to customers immediately. This decision will depend on customer demand and company inventory levels.
